Hanoi, December 2, 2020 – This morning, at the Vietnam Information Security Day 2020 International Conference and Exhibition, VNG Cloud was awarded the "Cloud Computing Platform" certificate by the Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam Safety Cloud.
VNG Cloud is the first enterprise to meet all 153 out of 153 technical criteria related to cloud-based solutions for e-government and Vietnamese businesses, as developed and evaluated by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Cybersecurity is recognized as a key factor for successful digital transformation. Therefore, in order to assist businesses in choosing qualified cloud computing service providers, the Ministry of Information and Communications has assessed domestic cloud computing providers and awarded certificates to qualified enterprises with the best solutions.
The main groups of criteria include: Criteria for minimum specifications of cloud infrastructure (virtual machine, storage device, network and software-defined networking, physical machine, administration and operation, integration), and Information security criteria and specifications for cloud computing infrastructure (basic requirements for information security features, requirements for configuring security settings for cloud computing infrastructure).
