Hanoi, March 25, 2021 - VNG Cloud has been awarded the prestigious title of Leading Cloud Computing Infrastructure Provider at the World Mobile Broadband & ISP Summit 2021 - Security World 2021, organized and presented by International Data Group IDG Vietnam, the Radio and Electrion Association of Vietnam (REV), and the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA). This annual award aims to honor outstanding telecommunications service providers who have demonstrated exceptional performance and earned the trust of their customers over time.
In the national digital transformation journey, digital infrastructure is a crucial pillar for the development of the e-economy and e-society. According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, digital infrastructure is the combination of telecommunications infrastructure and cloud computing platforms. Vietnam aims to take ownership of its digital infrastructure through "Make in Vietnam" solutions and products, with the goal of accelerating digital transformation, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency and flexibility for businesses. In order to honor and recognize exemplary cloud computing service providers with outstanding performance, Radio and Electrion Association of Vietnam (REV), Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) and International Data Group IDG Vietnam (IDG Việt Nam) have collaborated to organize the program to select the Leading Telecommunications Service Provider of 2021.
At the event, VNG Cloud was awarded the title of Leading Cloud Computing Service Provider for Cloud Infrastructure based on six leading criteria: customer satisfaction with service quality, processing speed, accessibility, control, and latency; security capabilities; quality of customer support; alignment between quality and cost; and efficiency of cloud computing. This result was based on interviews with over 300 businesses from various sectors, including manufacturing and services, regarding specific criteria related to security, service quality, and satisfaction level. The award affirmed VNG Cloud's ability to provide cloud computing services and solutions to customers, effectively addressing the challenges of each industry through internationally recognized "Make in Vietnam" cloud computing technology.
