In an era where technology and regulatory frameworks evolve rapidly, businesses face increasingly stringent requirements for security, availability, and operational continuity. Balancing regulatory compliance with maintaining stable system performance has become a core factor in every organization’s digital transformation and AI adoption journey.
To enhance infrastructure quality and deliver a seamless experience to customers, VNG Cloud introduces a series of major updates across its key services and solutions - reaffirming our commitment to accompanying Vietnamese enterprises on their digital and AI transformation journey, built on three fundamental pillars: Security - Compliance - Continuity
Fast & secure infrastructure migration with VNG Cloud
As new data security and data localization regulations become more stringent, the need to migrate IT infrastructure to Vietnam is becoming increasingly critical for many enterprises.
Understanding these challenges, VNG Cloud introduces the Server Migration solution - enabling businesses to migrate systems from on-premises environments or other cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, etc., to VNG Cloud quickly, safely, and fully automatically. This solution simplifies the migration process, ensures data integrity, minimizes risks, and significantly shortens migration time.
Enterprises migrating to VNG Cloud can also enjoy incentives worth up to 1 billion VND under the Vietnam Data Shield program.

Ensuring continuous and uninterrupted system operation
Alongside seamless migration capabilities, VNG Cloud continues to upgrade multiple core services to ensure business systems remain highly available and disruption-free.
On Kubernetes Service (VKS)
Placement Group per Node Group
This new feature allows more flexible control over node placement, helping optimize performance and increase system availability. It is especially useful for workloads requiring anti-affinity (distributed nodes to reduce downtime risk) or affinity (co-located nodes to reduce latency and boost response speed).

Multi-AZ Nodegroup Support
With this feature, users can now operate Kubernetes clusters across multiple Availability Zones (AZs)- currently, VNG Cloud provides three AZs in Ho Chi Minh City: HCM-1A, HCM-1B, and HCM-1C. This ensures fault tolerance and stable operations even if one zone experiences issues.

On vNetwork
Multi-AZ for Endpoint, NAT và VPN
VNG Cloud now supports deployment of these services across all three AZs (HCM-1A, HCM-1B, HCM-1C). This enables customers to build resilient systems that maintain stable services even when one zone encounters a failure.

vDNS Integration for Endpoint
vDNS is a private DNS system tailored for VNG Cloud’s Private Cloud environment. The integration allows secure and flexible internal domain name management within VPCs and tight interoperability with other VNG Cloud services—forming a unified and powerful infrastructure ecosystem.

Enhanced security for enterprise systems
To help businesses strengthen data security and streamline data traffic management, VNG Cloud upgrades Load Balancing - vLB with two new key features.
Customers can now customize SSL Policy and ALPN Protocol, enabling them to select encryption standards that best suit their needs instead of using default configurations.
Additionally, the new Request/Response Header modification feature enhances access control and cross-domain data exchange security, further improving both application performance and protection.

Empowering DevOps teams with automation, Ffexibility and cost efficiency
Beyond enhancing security and system availability, VNG Cloud continues to empower technical teams through automation and operational efficiency improvements.
Quota Limit Auto-Scaling
Previously, users had to manually request quota increases via the Portal or support tickets. Now, the system automatically scales up resource quotas once usage reaches predefined thresholds - eliminating manual steps, saving admin time, and ensuring resources are always ready for sudden workload spikes.
Auto-Delete Inactive Clusters (After 30 Days):
To optimize costs and maintain a clean environment, the system automatically scans and deletes clusters without active nodes for 30 days, with prior email notifications to customers. This helps maintain a leaner, safer, and more cost-efficient Kubernetes environment.
Terraform Support for Availability Zones
Previously, Terraform only supported resource deployment in the HCM-1A and HAN regions. Now, VNG Cloud has expanded support, allowing users to deploy vServers directly from Terraform across multiple Availability Zones (1A, 1B, 1C). Users can flexibly choose deployment zones such as HCM-1A, HCM-1B, HCM-1C, or HCM03-BKK-01, helping optimize performance, enhance infrastructure flexibility, and better meet diverse operational needs

With these latest updates, VNG Cloud not only strengthens its three core pillars: Security - Compliance - Continuity, but also advances toward a future of automation, operational optimization, and holistic system readiness.
As Cloud-native and AI technologies continue to drive innovation, VNG Cloud remains a trusted partner of Vietnamese enterprises, helping build a robust, flexible, and resilient infrastructure - empowering businesses to stay ready for growth and breakthroughs.
